Valentines Adventures... being asked and answering to the dance :-D)

So, I got asked to the dance by Ben in probably the cutest way ever possible... he came to my house and sang a song -which he had written himself- to me, while playing his guitar :) ... let me just say that it was pretty darn cute :)  My smile was also pretty darn big... here's the picture of me that Andrew took after Ben left :)

Bonus: ... I even got to cross off something on my bucket list!!!... :) ... (have a guy sing and write a song for me ;)

I wanted a VERY good way of answering Ben back to the dance, so spent almost an entire day preparing for it.  I had Eric Kovacs, a good friend of mine dress up as Cupid... whose costume included a Greek robe/tunic, feathery wings, and a lovely flowered wreath for his head :)

Eric delivered a home-made arrow attached to a hand written (by me) poem answering Ben to the dance... along with AMAZING chocolate cream-filled cupcakes.

Frosty the Snowman

Yes, our snowman was going to be a very big one... which made it very awkward to use my foot as a chisel to round out the top to fit the next big snowball... : )

Poor, poor snowman... He was just so cold out there that he got sick... gangrene and chicken pox!!! : (

And what a lovely snowman he turned out to be... including a goatee and a mustache

After Finishing Frosty, we made some delicious homemade pizzas for dinner.

Trying to throw the crust like the professionals do...but it didn't work too well.  The crust is a little lumpy and holey :)

Shredding ham with a cheese grater... interesting

Our lovely stuffed pizza masterpiece... can you see the face? ;)
