Well, needless to say, this Valentine's was the best I've had. Carter did so many amazing things for me, and he made everything so perfect. Words can't describe the wonderful time we had, but here's the main gist of things :)

My first Valentine surprise was in the locker at school... Carter had put in there this balloon, adorable "teddy" lion, and a bouquet of plastic roses. On the roses he had left a sweet note about his love never dying. I thought it was so cute :) |

I came uptsairs to find my room covered in hearts, flower pedals, and streamers (which apparently Carter had done during 4th period). There was a french-looking vase with red roses inside, a Certificate of Romantic Intent, and a scrambled message. :) |

The most wonderful surprise was lying on my pillow. It was "The love that was meant to be", which Carter had written. It was our story and it was so so cute.
Later that night I went to Carter's for our date. I suprised him with the piggy tails he always begs me to wear... so I looked a little silly ;)
Carter led me downstairs to a candlelit table set for two. He had everything arranged so perfectly, and he presented each course like the perfect gentleman.
Everything that Carter did was so perfect... It was the sweetest night :D)
On Saturday I got to have my Valentines day date! I woke Carter up at 5:00... A.M... by throwing a pebble at his window :)
We went to my house, both of us in our pajamas, and spent the entire day together.
By 7:30 we had already watched a movie and made breakfast... we made Heidi German pancakes and served them to her in bed... such a lovely surprise! (It was a special treat for the soon-to-be German missionary!)

We made friendship bracelets together.. they were so totes darl! :) |
When evening came, I set up for a candlelit dinner. (I was planning on this before Carter did it for me.. so I wasn't copycatting!) :)
The dinner wasn't how I had planned... mom made the food because I didn't want to leave Carter alone (I wanted it to be an elaborate meal made entirely myself), and the one thing I did cook (garlic bread) got hopelessly burnt. I planned on spending a long time getting ready and looking amazing for our date, but since Carter was here I didn't want to do that either. I forgot to make a fire, and I didn't get the heart-shaped marshmallows I wanted to roast. And Carter had a headache :( but the night was wonderful, regardless of everything going against my plans. It was worth spending the entire day together... our 18 hour date was the best ever! :)
